A lot of people will try and sell you the idea that in order to become rich you need to make a lot of money. They say that if you are not in a high paying job that it is almost impossible to become rich.
But the truth is that anyone and everyone can become rich no matter what they earn. Because it is not how much money you make but what you do with the money that you make.
Making more money will not make you rich. Often people who believe this get poorer and poorer with every pay rise or bonus they get because instead of becoming wealthier, their new pay rise allows them to get into more debt. With every pay rise people know they can now afford more debt, so they pay for holidays and new cars on their credit cards. Instead of becoming richer they are becoming poorer because their debt is going up.
Rich people understand that it is not how much money you make that matters, but it is what you do with the money that you make that is really important. Rich people become rich because they purchase assets instead of liabilities. An asset is something that puts money in your pocket, and a liability is something that takes money out of your pocket.
People who believe that making more money will make them rich never become rich because they use their money to purchase liabilities that constantly take money out of their pocket every month. Rich people constantly purchase assets that increase their income by putting money into their pocket every month. By purchasing assets they are constantly making themselves richer and richer.
No matter what your current financial situation you can become rich. It does take a little training and a little hard work but it is achievable for anyone who sets their mind to it. More money may seem to make people richer, but it is actually what you do with your money that makes you rich or poor. So use your money to purchase assets and you will become rich in time.
If you don’t believe me then just look around you. Some of the people with the highest paying jobs are actually some of the poorest people. They have so much debt that they are trapped to their jobs. They have to work harder and harder just to keep up with their excessive expenses and they have no free time to spend with their families or to spend doing the things that they love.
Rich people understand that time is your greatest asset, and by turning their earned income (money from working) into passive income (money you don’t have to work for), they give themselves more time to do the things that they love and also more time for them to focus on becoming rich.
